Consumer Rights
ok. hear this. i need some legal advice on consumer rights for refunding goods.
see, we bought this portable aircon (fully paid) ard half a yr ago BUT the good wasnt delivered to the hse because we suddenly had a change of mind due to unforeseen circumstances. On the basis that the aircon wasnt delivered, am i able to ask for a full refund? though normally for 'normal' goods eg clothes, refund rights only exist within 7 days but in this case, since the good wasnt delivered to the house, it is an entirely NEW good. is a full refund applicable?
harvey norman refuses to trade with another commodity saying that it belongs to a different section of the company. but i feel that this should be refuted as harvey norman is an entity, it is only within its internal system that they classified different goods into sections. besides wheres the flexiblity of the company and its manifesto of delivering the best to its customers?
before i storm infront of e manager, acting like i know about the law and rights, and bravely ask for refund. i need to do some hw b4 it. gee, we paid ard 1-2k. it isnt a small sum to an indv but to a company yes. and ya, w inflation, groceries and utilities bills soaring, the money can help.
i have a week of holiday! (minus 1day for makeup lesson on pbf)
poa tutorials are killing me.. i want my study guide to come fast.
