recession is starting to show....

so the 霹靂mit is out (at $39.90) and i thought of [an incredible idea which is not so incredible afterall] i.e. to RENT the dvds and watch them comfortably in my hse teevee.

but, there are many others who apparently thought of this idea and rented the dvds before me + made reservations for e nx one......till the nxt available time would be nx mth when the show is about to end!!!!!

its ALWAYS like this. whenever im gonna rent smth (popular or not) its always RENTED.

and im unwilling to spend my 40bucks on smth which i will only watch ONCE. (i dont like repeats, no matter how long ago it was shown)

you see my frustration???

anw. i thought of smth economics since im in e midst of econs assignment (again) .

rents=inferior gds
buying=normal gds
hence in recessions (even technical recessions) inferior gds/svcs s.a. rents go up and ppl buy less. ppl rent more and compete for e limited cds for rents. winners get to rent, slowpokes dont. ahh..if only econs as easy as this.



cny in 2 wks and my hse hasnt stock up on new yr goodies. recession is starting to show at home.
