continuation..
ok. during the previous days i went dali too. but im not sure is which day.

day9
set off from cold shangrila bck to warm lijiang..
by then i kinda got used to the cold weather there.. not wearing as much layers as i was (e first time there)


pic taken in the gu chen (old city) it's mainly a tourist attraction. lots of shops but mostly selling the same stuff.. something like our bugis street. depending on how good ur bargaining is.. (mine suck pretty badly) u can get good deals but as they as.. u pay peanuts, u get peanuts. but it doesnt go both ways.. so even if you pay more you dont get quality goods. you know.. Made in China. =D
thats bout the only time.. we get to shop.. squeezing w the never ending crowd.


we ate these kao food. roasted.
its SUPER DUPER SALTY..
infact ALL THE FOOD IN CHINA IS SUPER SALTY.. i'll get high bld pressure if i stay there for long. & also is the cause of my sore throat.
anw.. the first few dishes came and it had KEROSENE TASTE. it seriously SPOIL my whole appetite. guess the only person happy w the food was kevin since he mainly cooked the food himself. the food he cooked himself was not bad actually. =p if he ever become a nutritionist, there'll be one more elite in the food world.. =B not saying that he wont be a good doc. i just feel he should follow his own wishes.. and not get swayed by others opinion.. it's his future anw..

JADE DRAGON SNOW MOUNTAIN..

also traditionally... when the man marries the woman.. he'll have to carry her on his back for A DAY.. thats part of the marriage custom. aha.


the crux of the whole trip.. SNOW SNOW and MORE SNOW..
of course.. we threw snowballs at each other.. and built a 'snowman' (but it didnt come out looking like a snowman) hahaha.

one will be held in australia.. aldelia.
another in msia on my bdae..
but im not sure if im able to go.. woohoo.. australia.
australia is a good migration country. lots of my cuz studying there too.. taylor's college.

it's back to studying... block test.. prelims.. A levels..
thats singapore.
thats life as a student.
i cant wait for all these crap to end.
